Phillip Crocker was born in Melbourne, Australia. From an early age, he developed a passion for nature, architecture, and photography. In high school, in the 1990s, Phillip studied photography and met his first love: a Pentax k1000 SLR shooting black and white 35mm film. Possessing an intuitive eye behind the lens, Phillip quickly developed a strong command of composition, framing, and light.
Following graduation, Phillip pursued a successful career in Hospitality Management, where he discovered a second passion — working closely with people and delivering exceptional client experiences. Even while managing restaurants, he continued to refine his photographic craft, completing an intensive program at Melbourne’s Photography Studies College and gaining valuable industry experience alongside a headshot and casting photographer in Queensland.
In 2009, Phillip met his third love – a Canadian girl named Colleen. Shortly after meeting her, Phillip moved to Colleen’s hometown of White Rock, Canada where he was awestruck by the city’s beautiful landscape and character. Camera in hand, Phillip immediately began exploring his new home through his lens capturing stunning and emotive images that he later sold at galleries and boutique retailers.
In 2012, Phillip turned his passion for photography into a viable business and created Phillip Crocker Photography. Phillip now specializes in Real Estate and Architectural Photography. With 10,000's of residential and commercial locations shot, Phillip has developed an expert eye for composition and lighting. Perhaps most importantly, Phillip has a great manner with his clients. After having managed restaurants for a number of years, he is naturally polite, professional and prompt. In the highly competitive Vancouver real estate photography market, Phillip has built a reputation for delivering exceptional imagery, responsive communication, and dependable turnaround times.
